Flex Studio is a customizable content platform built by Marvia. I led HomeWell’s implementation, brand configuration, template system, testing, and rollout—shaping how the platform worked for franchise users while keeping customization within brand standards.

I helped take Flex Studio from early testing through rollout — using the platform in real production work, surfacing bugs and workflow gaps, testing with franchisees, building the template library, and creating the launch and training materials that supported adoption. After launch, I also helped expand the platform into new internal use cases.

Research & Discovery

Testing Flex Studio before it reached the network

After working closely with Marvia during the Marketing Hub rollout, HomeWell was invited to be one of the first clients to test Flex Studio while it was still in development. I used the platform in real production work, which helped uncover bugs, usability gaps, and workflow issues that may not have surfaced in a controlled test. I documented those findings and worked through them directly with Marvia’s team during development calls.

Before launch, I also structured a beta test with franchisee users to understand how the experience held up outside our internal team. I worked with the Brand Manager to refine the survey questions for clarity, helping make sure the feedback we collected would be specific and useful enough to inform product decisions.

The findings gave us a clearer picture of where the experience needed refinement. I worked with Marvia’s team as improvements were made, including improvements that extended beyond HomeWell’s immediate use case.

Visual Execution

Designing the Flex Studio template library

A look at the template system created for Flex Studio, including social, digital, and print-ready assets built within HomeWell’s brand standards. I led the visual direction and worked alongside my junior designer to create 50+ templates and 80+ supporting assets for the platform.

Training & enablement

I produced eight training videos and a Quick Tool Tips reference guide to help franchisees learn Flex Studio, troubleshoot common tasks, and use the platform more confidently on their own.

Cross-Departmental Adoption

Extending Flex Studio beyond franchisee use

Flex Studio’s value quickly extended beyond franchisee-facing collateral. I began identifying internal workflows where the platform could give other HomeWell teams more direct control over recurring creative needs and reduce their reliance on the design queue.

For Franchise Development, I rebuilt their paid and organic social templates in Flex Studio, consolidating work that had previously lived in a separate design tool and creating a centralized asset library with my junior designer. The new setup also made it easier for the team to create and test variations of their social creative.

For Operations, I moved recurring program and regional materials into Flex Studio so the event coordinator could build and update those pieces directly. That removed a workflow that previously required a detailed brief, a handoff to design, and an InDesign build for every update.

I supported both rollouts with live walkthroughs, helping each team learn the platform while gathering feedback on how Flex Studio could better support their day-to-day work.
